'00 Honda Odyssey, More Parts than Need

Q: I own a "00 Honda Odyssey, recently it had a "Check Engine" light on. I have changed both O2 sensors and the catalytic converter, still the "Check Engine" light is on and DTC is P1491. I do not know what to do. It has 95k miles. Please advise me.

A: Well to start off with, the computer code you're reporting is for a malfunction in the EGR system. In addition this computer fault code is more of an electrical circuit type failure with the EGR system, which is not related to the oxygen sensors or the converter, which leads one to ask why did you replace all that other stuff?
