Wheel Stud Identification

Q: Can you tell me where I can find a wheel stud identification chart that shows what size wheel studs are used on the various vehicles, showing the vehicle names and their associated wheel stud sizes?

A: I not aware of an identification chart that fits just the request you’re making. But you can kind of reverse engineer the answer to your question. I would suggest acquiring what is called an automotive hardware & hard parts catalog that is called a Buyer’s Guide and Applications catalog. In this catalog, you can look up the vehicle requirements and then refer to an illustrated part of the guide for the physical dimensions of the wheel stud. We use a product guide/catalog called Dorman to look up such hardware needs.
