What this code is actually telling you is that the EVAP system has detected a large leak somewhere in the system. That leak could be caused by a damaged gas cap seal, a faulty purge valve, a cracked EVAP hose, a leaking charcoal canister or a faulty vent valve.
As with any diagnosis, start with the simplest and least expensive possibility first. Inspect the gas cap to make sure it's tightened properly and that the seal isn't cracked or damaged. If the code returns, it's time to dig a little deeper.
