RATTLING REAR DOOR AT IDLE, 2022 EXPLORER

Explorer owners have complained about a buzz, vibration or rattle below the left rear door at engine idle or low RPM.  Ford has issued a Technical Service Bulletin: 22-2135.

This may be due to the pressurized fuel delivery line contacting the body or the fuel tank creating the noise. To correct the condition, install foam patches to absorb the motion, thus quieting the sound.

Warranty Status: Eligible under provisions of New Vehicle Limited Warranty (NVLW)/Service Part Warranty (SPW)/Special Service Part (SSP)/Extended Service Plan (ESP) coverage. Limits/policies/prior approvals are not altered by a TSB. NVLW/SPW/SSP/ESP coverage limits are determined by the identified causal part and verified using the OASIS part coverage tool.
