About Jean-Claude

Admittedly, I was never keen on becoming an Automotive Service Technician. My dream was always to become an Airline Pilot. When getting serious about the next steps after high school, it was clear that the path to flying was extremely expensive and despite my hard work in school, my goals changed. I quickly got into performance vehicles, started buying car magazines from Japan and watched popular shows such as MightyCarMods and TopGear. Before I knew it, I was the guy helping my friends install all their performance bolt-ons.

After French High School, I went with plan B, the Canadian Apprenticeship program for Automotive Service Technician. I finished top of the class and got a job with Mercedes-Benz. I spent 4 years with them where I built a solid foundation, helping the dealership win multiple Star Dealer Awards and got my chance to touch some cool exotic cars. Mercedes-Benz taught me a level of quality that is unmatched. I moved onto Hyundai where the team allowed me to complete my Red Seal Certification. My experience at Hyundai helped me to get quicker and more efficient. I quickly rose to the top of their leaderboard but started itching to get back into European vehicles. I took a job as the sole technician for a brand-new Maserati and Alfa Romeo dealership and spent just over 3 years building that team while getting the opportunity to work on exotic cars such as Ferrari and Lamborghinis. I then joined a VW dealership, earned my spot as the most efficient technician, obtained EV certifications, and helped win multiple Wolfsburg Awards. From there, I was recruited by ALLDATA for my years of experience in the trade, bilingualism, and heavy experience with Euro’s and factory EV training.

At home I enjoy playing video games, travelling to new countries and spending time on my wife’s family farm. I also enjoy anything with a motor. That includes motorcycle rides with my wife on my Ducati Scrambler 800.
