LaCrosse Instrument Cluster Unstable and Engine Stalls

Vehicle: 2012 Buick LaCrosse, FWD, V6-3.6L, Automatic Transmission/Transaxle

Mileage: 178,990

Problem: The vehicle owner stated that while driving or while sitting at a stop, the warning lights in the instrument cluster start flashing, the tachometer and speedometer gauges fluctuate erratically, and the engine starts to surge then will eventually stall out.

 

Caravan MIL On, Low Engine Power

Vehicle: 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan, V6-3.8L, Automatic Transmission/Transaxle

Mileage: 147,556

Problem: The vehicle was brought to the shop because of poor acceleration and a hesitation. The malfunction indicator light (MIL) was on.

 

Lexus Parking Assist System Issues After Collision Repairs

Vehicle: 2018 Lexus NX 300, FWD, L4-2.0L Turbo (8AR-FTS), Automatic Transmission/Transaxle

Mileage: 38,889

Problem: This vehicle sustained substantial front and rear collision damage. The bumpers and proximity sensors were replaced during repairs. After the repairs were made, the parking assist system did not work and the warning indicator in the instrument cluster was on. The body shop’s technician pulled a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) then called ALLDATA Tech-Assist for some assistance.
