About George

I first started getting interested in vehicles at the age of 10 when I bought a go-kart frame from a garage sale and put my dad’s rototiller engine on it. After getting a taste for driving around in something that I didn’t have to pedal, I was hooked.

During high school, I participated in the auto shop program and worked after school at the local Union 76 station as a pump jockey and shop helper.

Time has really flown by, and now I have over 30-years of automotive repair experience. Most of that experience is with European vehicles, but I have gained a lot of hands-on experience working in shops that serviced all makes and models.

In my spare time I love to ride and repair motorcycles. I spent eight years as the program leader for Snohomish County, Washington 4H’s motorcycle and ATV clubs.

I also love working on the Tech-Assist hotline because it gives me a chance to learn new things. Every day I get challenged to figure out tough cases. I really look forward to helping you with your next tough case.
