Dodge Ram 2500 Blows White Smoke Only at 60mph
Vehicle: 2006 Dodge Ram 2500, 4WD, L6-5.9L DSL Turbo, VIN C, Manual Transmission/Transaxle

Problem: The truck was towed in for a no-start condition. The technician found the #5 injector was bad. He replaced #5 and #6 injectors and the fuel filter. NOTE: The other four injectors were replaced previously. After the repairs, the engine started right up, but on the test drive, the technician noticed a lot of white smoke with blue tint coming out of the tailpipe at a steady 2000 rpm or about 60mph. The engine started fine and did not smoke at idle or when revving the engine in Neutral or Park. The smoke stopped immediately when accelerating or when decelerating. When smoking, the technician noticed sounds like an injector tick or rattle, but it also went away either by accelerating or decelerating.
No Start After Headlight Replacement
