Disturbing Sounds During Chrysler 300 Acceleration

2022-23 Chrysler 300 owners have noticed an unusual clicking or grinding noise when accelerating. On May 19, 2023, Stellantis issued a Technical Service Bulletin (03-002-23) that identifies the issue. 300s Built on or after September 1, 2022 and before December 14, 2022, may have a driveshaft manufacturing tolerance variation that causes this sound. The TSB has also been released as a Rapid Service Updated (RSU) and the repair is reimbursable within the provision of the warranty. Both these bulletins do not apply to LA vehicles equipped with a 5.7L V8 Hemi VVT. The repair procedure is included in the TSB.
