Problem: The vehicle came into the shop because the MIL was ON, but vehicle displayed no symptoms.
Issue/Symptoms: The technician retrieved DTC P062a00 – Output of the fuel pump is implausible.
Details: After researching ALLDATA for TSBs, the tech found two campaigns. Both suggested performing a fuel control module software update to fix this problem.
Confirmed Repair: After the fuel control module was updated, the DTC was cleared and a full drive-cycle performed. The MIL did not come back and the vehicle was fixed!
