Vehicle: 2008 Mini Cooper S Clubman, L4-1.6L Turbo, Automatic Transmission/Transaxle

Mileage: 72,003

Problem: The horn was not working.tt_-_mini_cooper_no_horn_toot_2b.jpg

Details: The horn operates when power and a ground are directly applied. The tech tested the horn fuse #44 – fuse and power were good. While testing for power at Pin #8 at the fuse box connector X11006, he found a Brown/Yellow wire broken at the fuse box connector.

Confirmed Repair: The tech replaced the connector end in the fuse box – problem fixed. Additional note: The horn relay is integral to the junction box and it is not serviceable.
