Some VW Golf owners have brought their vehicle complaining about false warnings while using the Park Assist feature. Volkswagen has issued a bulletin to address the possible reasons for the false warnings. Environmental conditions, vehicle equipment damage and aftermarket modifications are categorized in bulletin 94-22-02. Solutions vary from diagnostic procedures to the ADAS sensors to customer re-education. Warranty coverage is limited and dependent on the cause of the false warnings.
