Editing Customers

Editing customer information only affects unposted orders.

  • Example:  If an address is updated, the correction shows on pending orders but not on orders that have already posted.

 

To edit customer records:

  1. Click Main >> Customers.

  2. Select the customer record to be changed and click Edit.

    • Result: An Edit Customer window displays.

  3. Information tab: Enter the customer information.

  4. Service History tab: No information is available until orders are processed for the customer.

  5. Payment Record tab: No information is available until payments have been made by the customer.

  6. Comments tab: Enter comments about the customer.

  7. Click Submit >> Close.
